Filmop was founded in the early 1970s with a vision of specializing in the manufacturing of highly engineered manual cleaning equipment for professional use.

Today, more than 40 years after its inception, Filmop remains a European leader in the development and design of mops, buckets, carts and microfiber products.

Filmop’s primary manufacturing plant and company headquarters is located just north of Venice (the Veneto production zone). The Italian facility is approximately 30,000 sq. meters including warehouses for storage of finished and semi-manufactured products, administration, sales and purchase offices, production and assembly departments, as well as a laboratory for research and development.

Filmop USA is headquartered in Conroe, TX, just outside of Houston, in a 50,000 sq. foot facility that houses all US operations and a fully-functioning training facility. Filmop remains a family owned and operated company, enabling flexibility, responsiveness, responsibility and a highly focused market approach. Filmop designs its products by combining intense observation of cleaning professionals doing their jobs, with an extremely sophisticated CAD design program.

The Filmop manufacturing plant houses the molding facility and inventories over 6,000 different molds for carts, buckets and mop accessories. The company can react quickly to individual customer needs, as well as to rapid evolution of current designs into even more productive tools.
